As *Maintenance Supervisor *you willsupervise the day-to-day activities of the Maintenance Department in accordance with company policy and procedures, current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing the facility, and as may be directed by the Administration, to assure that the facility environment is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of facility management, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations - Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective facility operations - Manage a team of facility staff, providing leadership, guidance, and support - Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for facility-related projects - Monitor and maintain compliance with safety regulations and standards - Develop and manage the facility budget, ensuring cost-effective operations - Collaborate with other departments to support their facility needs - Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in facility management
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Must be knowledgeable in operation of boilers, compressors, generators, etc.
, as well as various mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
* Ability to read and interpret blue-prints, wiring schematics, etc.
* Knowledgeable in building codes, safety regulations, maintenance practices and procedures.
* Ability to plan and carry out programs in repair, new construction, and equipment installation.
* Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role
* Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
* Knowledge of high voltage and low voltage systems
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions
* Proficient in using facility management software and tools
* Some knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
