We are seeking a Full-Time Project Engineer / Jr.
Estimator who can make an impact on our team.
This position will oversee all estimating duties, from pre-bid through bidding to Project Manager hand-off.
We are seeking an individual who has at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry, and is ready to learn and grow long-term with our company.

Position Functions:
* Assist in the planning and preparation of construction cost estimates of buildings or other structures from drawings, outlines, and specifications.
* Prepare cost estimates, forms, and other materials.
* Review construction cost estimates for accuracy, completeness, and competitiveness.
* Meet project deadlines and manage client relationships.
* Perform construction risk analysis, risk mitigation, cost impact and cost contingencies analysis.
* Communicate and negotiate with subcontractors and other business partners.
* Analyze change orders on construction work under contract.
* Review subcontractor bids against bid plans & specifications.
Correspond with subs about scope of work.
Draft subcontractor scopes for subcontract agreements.
* Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
* Five years of professional construction experience
* Knowledge of current local construction labor and material costs
* Good oral and written communication skills
* Ability to develop costs based on RFIs, ASI, SK, and estimate the detailed costs of those scopes of work independent of the contractor proposal.
* Prefer prior experience working with BlueBeam and Primavera P6 software.
Desired Education:
* Graduation from a recognized college or university with a Bachelor's Degree.
Preference to Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or Statistics/Mathematics.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.
00 - $110,000.
