SEIU MOU (Download PDF reader) WHAT YOU'LL DO: Interpret and enforce provisions of fire prevention and fire safety laws, ordinances, and other regulations.
Respond to telephone, email and all inquiries regarding codes, plan review and general fire prevention questions.
Act as a liaison for the Fire Marshal between the Fire Prevention Bureau and other City Departments, developers, contractors, citizens, etc.
Assist fire inspectors with complex or unusual field inspections of new and existing buildings, structures and installations requiring fire clearances; identify fire hazards; recommend corrective actions.
