Description:
$2,500 sign-on bonus after the successful completion of 90 days.
Responsibilities include inspection of production parts and assemblies per technical drawings, inspection plans and job travelers.
The use of various measuring instruments and hand tools to inspect dimensional, cosmetic, and optical surface finishes.
Document measurement results electronically on computer network.
Other duties will include completing traveler operations, creating inspection reports, maintaining a safe, clean work environment and daily/weekly maintenance of inspection and production equipment.

Dimensional and surface finish inspection of work-in-process and finished goods
Archives all production records using company MES or ERP
Create, maintain, and deploy inspection plans
Rejected part documentation and participate in corrective actions
Verify that corrective actions resolve defects
Contribute ideas and help improve quality assurance processes
Continuous cross training in other department functions

Qualifications:
1 year experience in dimensional metrology and surface metrology preferred
CMM experience preferred
Scanning white light interferometer preferred (Zygo)
3D CAD knowledge (UG NX and/or Solidworks) is a plus
Inspection/qualification software (Geomagic) is a plus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Diverse manufacturing background (stamping, casting, molding, etc.
)
Computer experience including all Microsoft Office software programs preferred
