As a fully integrated contract manufacturing business, all process steps are completed on site in AST’s 100,000 sq.
ft.
facility.
AST is located in Oxnard California, the “Gateway to California’s Central Coast”, located 60 miles northwest of Los Angeles and 2 miles from the Pacific Ocean and California’s Pacific Coast Highway.
*Job Summary*: The ideal candidate will have a Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering degree and previous experience directing all daily maintenance activities within the Manufacturing Operations including delegation of tasks, tracking mechanical performance, and directing the processes of necessary repairs.
*Job Description:*
· Create preventive maintenance reports for all the tools and equipment used in the facility.
· Making detailed reports about the maintenance and repairs completed.
· Ability to understand blueprints, charts, and repair manuals
· Knowledge of maintaining Spare part inventory and maintenance work orders.
· Work with outside vendors to acquire spare parts lists and parts quotes.
· Investigate equipment failures or difficulties to diagnose faulty operations and recommend remedial actions.
· Develop and optimize designs in 3D CAD software with associated CAE tools.
· Assists in research of new equipment, systems, and processes to advance plant operations.
Actively participate in the process through installation and until the machinery is put into production.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Training Maintenance Technicians
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical field.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $80,000.
