How you will make an impact: The Senior Automation / Controls Engineer will develop wiring diagrams, program logic and specify components for electrical controls in new machine equipment design.
Assist in building and troubleshooting of new equipment as well as assist with troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading existing equipment.
Lead and mentor new engineers to provide direction and guidance in the production of new equipment.
Work with engineering to develop and build new equipment.
Design/Layout electrical schematics/systems.
Develop PLC logic and HMI interface.
Work with engineering and maintenance to troubleshoot, upgrade, improve, and test existing equipment.
Integrate motor controls including Stepper Motors, Servo’s and VFD’s.
The skills and experience you’ll need: Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or 5 to 10 years working experience in a similar position preferred.
PLC Programming experience with ladder logic is preferred.
HMI/SCADA programming is preferred.
Proficient in 2D CAD and drafting software, AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical preferred.
Proficient with MS Office software including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and a working knowledge of a wide variety of software packages, operating systems, and equipment.

US BASE PAY SCALE $152,000 - $170,600 The base pay scale for this role is what Meissner reasonably expects to pay for the position although actual pay may vary from this scale depending on an applicant's experience.
