Our client, a leader in the roofing industry, is currently seeking a *Tear Off Roofer*.
They have provided comprehensive roofing services for the last 30 years to residents and business owners in Ventura, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles County and surrounding areas.
If you have previous experience in the roofing or construction industry then this may be the position for you!
Duties:
- Install, repair, and maintain roofs on residential and commercial buildings
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new roofing materials
- Measure, cut, and shape roofing materials to fit specific requirements
- Install or replace flashing around roof penetrations and vents
- Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action for repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Complete any necessary demolition or tear-off as needed
- Set up and take down work site, tools, and equipment as directed by the supervisor
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in roofing or a related field is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of remodeling, carpentry, drywall, and caulking techniques
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding construction plans
- Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, and equipment commonly used in roofing projects
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise

- Follow company policies and procedures, OSHA, and applicable State and Federal laws

- Bi-lingual English and Spanish beneficial
