Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of heavy equipment, including dozers, excavators, skid steers, loaders, backhoes, water trucks, and farm machinery.
- Use equipment to move materials, load and unload trucks
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment, such as loaders, dump trucks, bulldozers, cranes, or farm machinery.
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) for operating commercial vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, self-driven and motivated and ability to adapt to changing situations.
Note: Experience with welding/fabricating, use of hand tools or construction is a plus.
