We have an outstanding career opportunity to work with a boutique property management group with a large commercial and residential portfolio in Downtown Ventura.
Primary responsibilities:
• Perform skilled work in the pruning, care, and maintenance of trees and grounds maintenance including chemical application duties
• Perform heavy manual labor in the care and maintenance of trees and in performing grounds maintenance
• Install, repair, and program irrigation systems and controllers
• Perform graffiti removal
• Familiarity with various plant species and proper care
• General landscape maintenance
Example Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.
m.
to 4:00 p.
m.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should possess:
• 15+ years experience in gardening or landscape maintenance
• Be fully tooled and have the ability to operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
• Knowledge of proper landscape, irrigation, and tree maintenance
• The ability to lift, carry and push tools, equipment, and supplies weighing 50 pounds or more and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• The ability to work in tight and confined spaces including precarious places, on elevated platforms, and in inclement weather conditions
• Pride in their personal work product; demonstrate initiative
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills
