JOB SUMMARY The Junior Accountant assists the Accounts Payable department to accomplish department and company goals and objectives, specifically related to Grower Accounting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES § Reviewing and balancing grower statements, preparing and analyzing production reports, and remitting grower payments.
§ Data entry.
§ Research ERP system for inventory and sales figures to create reports.
§ Update pricing in ERP system.
§ Communicate with field reps and growers to assist with their requests.
§ Post and maintain costs related to import lot accounting.
§ Enters vendor and freight invoices in accordance with AP guidelines.
§ Assists with check runs including matching vendor invoices and mailing out checks.
§ Perform other duties as requested.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS § Associates Degree or equivalent.
§ 6+ months experience in accounting or other office environment.
§ Basic knowledge of office equipment and related skills.
§ Basic MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat skills.
§ Effective interpersonal skills.
§ Organized and detail oriented.
§ Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving workplace.
§ Experience with D365 or Windows Dynamics is a plus.

HOW THE COMPANY USES EMPLOYEE PERSONAL INFORMATION · Identify and recruit employees, including by conducting due diligence into employee backgrounds.
· Administer benefit plans, including health plans for dependents.
· Meet payroll needs, including employee identification and fraud prevention.
· Analyze employee performance, conduct performance reviews, and adjust roles.
· Maintain records, such as licensure and credentialing records relating to an employee’s role.
· Support HR functions, including handling employee claims, complaints, travel, and administering changes to employment status.
· Contact employees regarding their work with, and relationship to, the Company and in emergency situations.
· Meet legal requirements, such as confirming that employees are eligible to work in the U.

· Maintain the security and confidentiality of Company systems and information including, but not limited to, trade secrets.
The Company does not “sell” or “share” employee information with third parties as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) and the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (“CPRA”).
The Company does not utilize automated decision-making technology as defined by the CCPA.
DATA RETENTION The Company will retain employee personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which the information was collected, and to the extent required to comply with the Company’s Document Retention Policy, applicable laws, statutes, state and federal regulations, regulatory bodies, or for other legal obligations.
EMPLOYEE RIGHTS WITH REGARD TO DATA All employees are entitled, subject to limitations specified by applicable state or federal law, to exercise the following rights: Right to Know.
Employees may request information about the personal information the Company has collected about them within the last 12 months, the categories of sources from which such information is collected, the purpose for collection, the categories of third parties with whom the Company shares such information if applicable, and whether the Company sold or disclosed an employee’s personal information.
Right to Delete.
Employees have the right to request the deletion of their personal information the Company has collected.
Subject to certain exceptions, the Company will delete employee personal information from the Company’s records and notify any service providers or contractors to delete the same.
The Company may deny an employee’s deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for the Company or a service provider to complete certain functions or to comply with document retention policies or applicable laws.
Right to Correct.
Employees have the right to correct inaccurate information the Company may have about them.
Upon request, the Company will make reasonable efforts to correct the personal information.
Right to Non-Discrimination.
Employees have the right to not be discriminated against for exercising any of the above-listed rights.
Right to Opt-Out of Sales; Right to Access Information About and Opt-out of Automated Decision-Making Technology; Right to Limit the Use of Sensitive Personal Information.
The Company does not sell personal information under California law, including the personal information of consumers under age 16, does not utilize automated decision-making technology as defined by the CCPA, and does not collect or process employees’ Sensitive Personal Information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about them, as defined by the CPRA.
Thus, no request to limit the use of employee personal information for these purposes is required.
EXERCISING AN EMPLOYEE’S RIGHTS If an employee would like to exercise their rights or have any questions regarding these policies, they may send an email to privacy@missionproduce.
com or contact Human Resources.
Employees may also use an authorized agent to submit a request.
If they do so, the agent must provide the Company with proof of the agent’s authority.
Once a request is received, the Company will verify the employee’s identity or the agent’s authority, send an acknowledgment of receipt, and provide a response within 45 calendar days.
However, the Company will inform an employee or agent in writing if the Company requires additional time.
The Company will typically not charge a fee to respond to these requests unless, at the Company’s sole discretion, the Company considers the request to be excessive, repetitive, unfounded, or overly burdensome.
CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY The Company reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at its discretion at any time.
