Senior Accountant

```Duties``` - Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Conduct cash flow analysis to ensure proper liquidity management - Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts - Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) regulations - Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits - Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations - Participate in the preparation of financial reports for management and stakeholders ```Skills``` - Proficiency in using accounting software, such as PeopleSoft or similar platforms - Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices - Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis - Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting processes - Knowledge of (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations is a plus - Ability to perform cash flow analysis and manage liquidity effectively - Experience in public accounting is preferred but not required - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail - Excellent written and verbal communication skills MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE or COST EXPOSURE MANDATORY Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
